Some Nyack residents livid after string of bar fights

Posted: Updated:

Some Nyack residents say they are fed up after another fight broke out this weekend at Riviera Steakhouse.

The latest fight took place early Saturday morning after several people became involved in an altercation, requiring the police to be called.

Earlier in the morning, police had arrested a man at the bar for alleged possession of marijuana.

A week earlier, shots were fired at the bar and some people were robbed.

Resident say they've had enough and don't want the violence to continue.

They may get their wish as complaints have been made to the State Liquor Authority and foreclosure proceedings have been started because the owners are allegedly behind on their rent.
