Police: 2 men impersonated cops to rob teens
Police say that two men impersonated cops to rob two teens at the Hillside trailer park in Monroe Saturday night.
Investigators say the men stopped the teens and demanded they submit to a pat-down. When the teens refused, cops say the police imposters pulled a knife and forced the teens to hand over their wallets and car keys.
Police say the two impersonators fled toward the CVS where they had parked their car and left quickly.
Authorities say the two teens were shaken, but unhurt from the ordeal.
Police are asking anyone with information to call them at 845-492-TIPS.
