Chester man claims bear broke into home

A Chester man claims his home was broken into by a bear Monday night.
Tim Licciardi says his busted-up screen is just one of the many reasons why he believes it was a bear that broke into his home on North Hudson Street.
Licciardi says he also found paw prints, droppings and a 50-pound bag of birdseed that was taken out of his house and eaten around 60 feet from his home.
Chester police are advising residents to lock their windows and doors and move birdseed or other types of food that bears might be attracted to into the basement.
