Storm uproots trees in Newburgh

A severe thunderstorm whipped through Newburgh Wednesday night, uprooting trees and causing severe damage. On Meadow Street, a large tree came crashing down onto a home, causing the roof to collapse.

Storm uproots trees in Newburgh
A severe thunderstorm whipped through Newburgh Wednesday night, uprooting trees and causing severe damage.
On Meadow Street, a large tree came crashing down onto a home, causing the roof to collapse.
Two massive trees were also uprooted on North Montgomery Street. One of the trees was ripped in half, smashing through the front door of a home and landing on a car.
