Friends of a Peekskill singer are getting together this weekend to raise money to help him pay for his medical bills.
Tommy Dabbs, 65, is battling kidney disease and congestive heart disease without health insurance. He says his sickness has led to hospitalizations and dialysis that he can't afford.
Many of Dabbs' friends and fellow entertainers will be performing at the Paramount Theater in downtown Peekskill tomorrow night to help raise money to make his financial situation a little easier.
Dabbs says he's grateful for the help and that he's doing better with the treatments.
