Orangetown police say that a North Carolina man threatened to kill the manager and tellers of a Trustco bank in Nyack during an armed robbery over the weekend.

Richard Williams, 29, of Wilson, North Carolina, was arrested Monday for the Saturday morning heist.

Cops say Williams entered the bank branch on Route 59 in Nyack wearing a ski mask and brandishing a silver pistol. Williams allegedly fled with approximately $14,000 after threatening to kill bank employees.
