Woman killed by oncoming car in Minisink

A 58-year-old woman was killed Friday night when her car was struck by an oncoming vehicle in Minisink.
Police say Arlene Smith, of Johnson, was driving on Route 284 at around 10:30 p.m. when she was struck by a car that crossed over the double lines. According to reports, the driver of the other vehicle was 18-year-old Jonathan Watch, of Westtown.
Officials say both Watch and a passenger in his car sustained minor injuries.
According to police, the investigation is ongoing. There is no word yet if Watch will face charges.
