Nurses at Nyack Hospital say they?re thrilled that their union has finally signed on to an acceptable contract with the medical center?s management.
Union members voted last week to ratify an agreement that includes a 9-percent wage increase over three years and maintains health insurance coverage levels.
The nurses had been working without a contract since late last year. The past few months saw tough negotiations and informational picketing.
