The mother who prosecutors said was high on cocaine when she crashed her car into an embankment, killing her 3-year-old daughter, was sentenced Friday to up to 25 years behind bars. An Orange County jury found Gore guilty of vehicular homicide and manslaughter in March. The accident occurred in June 2009 on Route 209 in Deerpark. Authorities also said her daughter was not buckled in a child safety seat.

Gore's lawyer says he is appealing the conviction.
