Nearly 100 firefighters from six departments were called to battle a three-alarm fire last week at an abandoned mental hospital in Thiells.
Officials say arson is suspected, mainly because there is no gas or electricity being supplied to the Letchworth Village complex. It has been vacant for the last 15 years.
Letchworth Village was part of a housing development project that would have provided 500 homes, but the recession forced the contractor to pull out.
No one was hurt, according to police.
