Wake services continued today for state Senator Thomas Morahan (R-38th District) who died earlier this week after a six-month battle with leukemia. He was 78.

Friends, constituents and fellow politicians gathered outside Higgins Funeral Home in New City on Thursday to pay their respects. Morahan represented Rockland and Orange counties for more than a decade in the New York State Senate.

Wake services for Sen. Morahan will be held again tonight and tomorrow from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.

A funeral mass is scheduled for Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine's Church in New City.
