Rescued dogs celebrate freedom this Independence Day

Call them ?The Freegles.?
Just in time for Independence Day, 120 rescued beagles were introduced to cooing crowds today at a Middletown animal shelter.
After a daring rescue that crossed state lines, the dogs were freed from a much darker fate. Officials say they were abandoned and locked inside the laboratory of a bankrupt New Jersey testing facility.
Volunteers are expected to shower the pups with love at the Pets Alive animal shelter, where they?ll also be spayed, neutered and given medical attention.
