The Palisades Center Mall doesn't open until 10 a.m., but that didn't stop consumers from lining up early Thursday morning to get the newest generation of the Apple iPhone.
The fourth-generation phone had people standing in line at Apple stores across the world.
Marie Betrand said she got up at 4 a.m. just to get in line, but almost didn't get a new iPhone.
Luke Iaciofano said he plans on selling his iPhone 3G so he can pay for a new phone.
New features on the phone include a higher-definition camera and editing software, as well as the ability to run multiple applications at once.
