Cash-strapped Newburgh asks for public's help
The City of Newburgh is asking for public donations to keep annual holiday celebrations going.
The city has already canceled its Memorial Day event and now the Fourth of July fireworks show could suffer the same fate.
Deputy Mayor Regina Angelo says the city has raised $3,000 so far for the fireworks show.
