Police: Man flashed teen girls in Blauvelt

Posted: Updated:

Blauvelt residents are on high alert after authorities say a man flashed several teenage girls.

Orangetown police say the incident happened Friday afternoon on Western Highway near the intersection of Old Western Highway.

Authorities say the girls ran to a home nearby on Burrows Lane and the homeowner called police, but the alleged flasher was able to get away.

The South Orangetown and Pearl River school districts have notified parents of the incident and police are urging everyone to talk to their kids about the dangers of approaching a stranger's car.
