The East Ramapo school district remains without a budget after a meeting earlier this week.
A heated meeting once again ended without the board agreeing on a revised budget. The community voted down the district's original $198-million budget proposal earlier this month.
The board has until just before midnight on June 1 to agree on a revised budget, otherwise the community loses its chance for a revote and the district goes directly to an austerity budget.
