Pearl River holds prayer session for crash victim

The Pearl River community was joined together in prayer last night following a car accident that led to one teenager losing a leg.

During Monday?s heavy rains, two teenage friends were driving along Veterans Memorial Drive before they hit a guardrail and eventually landed in a stream bed. The driver, 17-year-old Steven Lowney is fine but 15-year-old Justin Rogers lost his leg.

The prayer service was held at Saint Margaret?s Catholic Church.
