Posted: Updated:

Police say two officers were injured yesterday morning when their cruisers were hit by a drunken driver. Officers Matthew Sullivan and Sgt. Thomas Schutz were injured in the crash and taken to Nyack Hospital.

Police say the driver, 30-year-old Bernard Bohunicky, refused to take a Breathalizer test at the scene. He was also charged with driving with a suspended license.

Bohunicky is being held at Rockland County Jail. Bail was set at $50,000.

The crash shut down Route 304 north in Clarkstown for several hours.
