Teachers learned about gang awareness from the FBI this week as violence continues to escalate in Newburgh.

Click 'next' below your video player for additional videos.According to Newburgh High School Principal Peter Copeletti, gang violence this year has been unprecedented. Just this week, a fight involving 50 kids broke out in broad daylight on the corner of Dubois and South streets. The brawl continued on for several blocks before police were able to break it up.

The FBI says a new task force has been established and students will be the next group to get an education on how to stay out of gangs.
