Nearly a month into their inaugural season, the Mercy College women's lacrosse program is off and running.

Despite the usual growing pains found with any first-year squad, the Mavericks have netted four wins in their first six games. All despite a roster dominated by first-year players.

The Mavericks will look to build on their early success to get ready for conference play, which starts in April. The Mavericks will take on teams out of the East Coast Conference, one of the toughest in Division II.
