A local non-profit organization made it a little easier for teens to buy prom dresses at an affordable price this year.
Operation Prom collected dresses from all across Westchester County to provide dresses to teens whose families are struggling economically at a cheaper price.
The 'prep for prom' event included second-hand dresses as well as dresses donated from bridal shops, tuxes for their dates, accessories and make up.
The students who participated in the event had to be passing all their classes and had to be recommended by their guidance counselor.
