The Stony Point woman accused of running over her husband in a drunken rage was charged Thursday with vehicular manslaughter.
Kelly McElroy kept her head down as she walked past a crowd of her late husband's family and friends on her way into a courtroom.
The 31-year-old woman is accused of running over Glenn McElroy with a car Jan. 24. The 26-year-old man suffered severe head injuries and died shortly after.
"I want to see a little closure," says Ed McElroy. "My grandson was killed, and it's really bothered me bad."
Kelly McElroy's case was adjourned for a felony investigation. She is due back in court May 6.
