Wednesday's massive snowstorm reduced visibility and left roads across the Hudson Valley sleek with snow and sleet, making for a dangerous commute.
Motorists struggled to move along on the slippery Route 304 in West Nyack as snow continued blowing Wednesday evening. Dozens of weather-related accidents were reported throughout the region.
Danny McGillicuddy, of Stony Point, says he lost control of his truck on the Palisades Parkway in Clarkstown and crashed into a tree.
"I think I must have hit ice because I didn't break, I didn't swerve," he says.
Drivers are urged to slow down and allow extra time to reach their destinations.
