2 inches of snow greets HV commuters
Between one and two inches of snow fell across the Hudson Valley early this morning, forcing some schools to open late and snow plows to hit the road.
Jeff Feagles, the Warwick DPW Commissioner, says his community only received about an inch of powdery snow, making for an "easy clean-up for folks here."
DPW crews took to the streets around 2 a.m. in plow and salt trucks. The snow stopped around 7 a.m., and most of the roads were clear for the morning commute.
