Death of 6-year-old mourned in Unionville

Posted: Updated:

The Unionville community is mourning the death of a 6-year-old girl who was killed in a car accident over the weekend.

Police say Jaelynn Warner was killed Saturday afternoon when her mother's SVU crashed into a tree on Pine Hill Road in Minisink. The girl's mother, Michelle Gajdusek, told police she swerved when an animal ran onto the road.

"I'll remember her as a cute little girl riding up and down the road on her bike, remember her curly hair," says Cliff Lemin, a neighbor of the family.
