Local emergency responders head to Haiti
The Spring Valley community is preparing to send emergency responders to Haiti as a massive international relief effort continues to take shape.
The mission is being organized by the village, which has one of the largest Haitian communities in the Hudson Valley.
And in New City, donations are being taken at a Boston Market. One of the restaurant's employees was visiting Haiti when the earthquake struck and has not been able to leave the island nation.
The Boston Market is located at 32 North Main St.
