Winter storm hits Hudson Valley

A winter storm brought a mix of snow and rain to the Hudson Valley Wednesday morning.The snow started to change over to heavy rain early in the morning and News 12 Hudson Valley meteorologist Brysen Van Eck says the heavy rain should end early Wednesday afternoon.A winter weather advisory is in effect for areas north of I-287 until noon.The storm forced dozens of schools across the region to either close or have delayed openings.
