Vigil held 1 year after Laura Garza went missing

A candlelight vigil was held Thursday night in front of the Marquee nightclub in Manhattan to mark one year since Brooklyn woman Laura Garza disappeared.
Garza, a 25-year-old aspiring dancer, was last seen leaving the nightclub with Michael Mele, a convicted sex offender from Orange County.
Mele is currently serving a sentence of up to three years for failing to register as a sex offender, but he was never charged in Gazra's disappearance.
State police say they are waiting for forensic test results, which they hope will shed light on Garza's case. The results are expected to be ready by Jan. 1.
