Sharing Community lends a hand on holiday

More than 100 volunteers at the Sharing Community in Yonkers have taken time out of their holiday to prepare meals for those in need.

The workers not only prepared some 300 Thanksgiving meals, but also breakfast for those who need it.

"It's a chance to give them some place to be where they can feel good about themselves," says Rob Zopf, executive director of Sharing Community.

Although their service is most visible during the holidays, workers say they provide food for those in need throughout the year.
