A Ramapo school reopened late Wednesday morning after officials say an intruder entered the building.
Police and school security officers canvassed the Ramapo High School Freshman Center as students and teachers stayed in their classrooms, with the blinds drawn, during a lockdown.
School officials say the lockdown went into effect after a man walked into the main entrance and didn't stop to sign in with security. The building was then searched and deemed safe after no one was found.
