Police nab suspect in college sex assault

Police arrested a Queens man who is accused of sexually assaulting a student in the dormitory of Saint Thomas Aquinas College two weeks ago.
Investigators say 23-year-old Kevin Salguero got into the room of a 19-year-old woman, whom he apparently met at a party, through an unlocked window, climbed into her bed and started fondling her.
The victim's screams woke up her roommates, and the attacker took off, police say.
Salguero turned himself in to the Orangetown Police Department earlier this week. He is now facing several charges, including sexual abuse, forcible touching and burglary. Salguero is free on $2,000 bail.
