8 teens hurt in Montgomery rollover crash
Eight teenagers were rushed to the hospital Wednesday after being injured in a rollover crash in Montgomery, police say.
Police say the incident happened shortly before 2 p.m. on River Road when 18-year-old Amaris Berrios, of Walden, lost control of his SUV, which flipped over at least twice. Two of Berrios' seven passengers were ejected from the vehicle because they weren't wearing seatbelts. Another teen was pinned under the car, police say.
Three of the victims were flown to Westchester Medical Center. Four other passengers were taken to St. Luke's Hospital.
Investigators say they do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
