Motive sought in apparent murder-suicide

Police say the apparent murder-suicide of a Newburgh couple may have been triggered by frustration over ongoing medical problems.
Authorities say 74-year-old Richard Benson used a shotgun to kill his wife Florence and then turned the weapon on himself.
According to police, the couple's 45-year-old son lived with his parents and was home at the time of the shootings. He heard the gunshots from his bedroom and was the first to call 911, police say.
Police are awaiting autopsy and toxicology reports for the couple.
