The New York State Department of Labor has announced Thursday that the Palisades Center Mall will lay off as many as 24 security guards in December.
Pyramid Management that runs the Palisades Mall says it will outsource for its new security team, but those employees who will be laid off may be rehired later on.
A spokesperson for the Department of Labor says all the workers affected by the cuts will receive assistance in finding new jobs.
