GPS leads police to alleged iPhone thieves
Police say they used iPhone's tracking system to find and apprehend two Spring Valley men accused of robbing an Apple store.
Authorities say 25-year-old Marvin Brown and 22-year-old Ian Davis entered the Apple store at the Palisades Center Mall Tuesday and ran off with four iPhones valued at over $3,500.
Police say they activated the phones' GPS and traced the devices to Orangeburg, where both suspects were arrested. Investigators say Brown and Davis are suspected of stealing two more iPhones from New Jersey and Long Island.
The suspects have been charged with grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property. They're due in court Thursday.
