Investigators probe dead carp mystery

Posted: Updated:

Investigators are still trying to determine how dozens of carp in the Hackensack River turned up dead in West Nyack.

Investigators for the state Department of Environmental Conservation say whatever caused the fish to die only seems to be affecting the carp.

Testing on the dead fish should be completed in about two weeks, investigators say.
