Broadcasting veteran laid to rest

Family and friends on Monday bid an emotional goodbye to Arnold Reif, a four-time national Emmy winner and former director of operations for News 12.

Reif, 70, died Saturday after suffering with a heart condition for months. Reif joined News 12 in 1996 and retired a decade later. Before that he won accolades during a 20-year career at NBC.

Reif is survived by his wife Nancy, their two daughters, two grandchildren and three siblings.

Cablevision is the parent company of News 12.
