Westchester drivers hit the road for holiday

Despite high gas prices and difficult economic times, many motorists hit the road for Memorial Day.
Westchester residents traveled, but stayed closer to home after gas went up 31 cents this month. Monday afternoon on the Tappan Zee Bridge, traffic was smooth, suggesting most people waited to head home, using up every last minute of the holiday weekend.
According to AAA, more Americans are traveling this year compared with last Memorial Day.
