New City parents proud of Navy son

A New City couple says they were proud to learn that their Navy son took part in the rescue of a cargo-ship captain off the coast of Somalia.
Kim and Mike Dutkoski say that because of security concerns, their son Jeremy, who is a cryptographer for the Navy, wasn't immediately able to give them the news, but a few days later they received an e-mail from him.
Jeremy Dutkoski serves on the USS Boxer, where Captain Richard Phillips was taken after snipers took out three of his pirate captors April 13.
Kim and Mike Dutkoski say they plan on seeing their son this summer. He's currently stationed out of Hawaii.
