Posted: Updated:

A tractor-trailer carrying cars struck an overpass on Smith Clove Road Thursday, sending several vehicles flying to the ground.

Police say the accident happened at around 2 p.m. The driver of the tractor-trailer, who was following his GPS, failed to clear a train overpass and struck it. Four out of eight sedans and SUVs the truck was transporting were damaged. No one was hurt in the crash.

Smith Clove Road was closed following the accident, but it has since been reopened. It remains unknown whether the driver of the tractor-trailer will face any charges.
