Parents ask: Will there be Little League?
Parents in Stony Point say the local Little League season, expected to open in a few weeks, is in jeopardy after thousands of dollars allegedly went missing from the league's account.
Parents Kim and Erich Von Heim say they already paid $150 for each for their two boys to play. They are also a sponsor at the league by advertising their towing company. They say explaining it all to their two boys is the hardest part, but they're being honest.
"Money has been taken. We don't know where it's gone, we're not going to buy cleats right now, we're not going to buy mitts," Kim Von Heim says they told their boys.
The alleged theft is under investigation by Stony Point police.
