Local restaurants slash prices to lure diners
With many people pinching pennies these days, restaurant owners in the Hudson Valley are doing what they can to make a night out more appealing to frugal diners.
"A lot of people are not going out to dinner so much right now because a lot of people are a little tight on money," says Lisa Mitchell, of G's Restaurant in Warwick.
G's is one of more than a dozen restaurants in the Warwick Valley that are taking part in a special two-week promotion, which offers discounts of 25 percent.
Restaurateurs say the reduced prices have been putting more customers in the seats. The promotion ends Sunday.
