Suffern business owner grateful fire was contained

A business owner near the Conserve Construction Company in Suffern says quick action by firefighters helped save his livelihood.
More than 100 firefighters from 15 departments battled the fire for hours last Thursday night. Authorities say the bitter cold temperatures and flammable materials inside the building made it difficult and dangerous for firefighters battling the blaze.
Stu Spiegel, who owns the neighboring Stu Auto and Truck Service, says firefighters did a great job by keeping the blaze contained.
Fire investigators do not yet know how the blaze started but say it does not appear to be suspicious.
