HV braves snow, frigid temperatures for commute

Frigid temperatures and a dusting of snow are leaving roads a mess across Westchester and the Hudson Valley. News 12 Hudson Valley meteorologist Brysen Van Eck says the region will likely see only an inch of snow. Temperatures for Thursday will be between 15-20 degrees and there will be single-digit temperatures overnight. Some parts of the region may fall below zero.Motorists are being advised to allow extra time to get to their destinations and to use caution while driving due to the weather conditions. Residents are also urged to wear extra layers of clothing to try to keep warm.Numerous warming centers are open in Orange and Rockland counties for residents who need a place to stay warm.
