Posted: Updated:

Gunshots rang in the new year at a party in Greenburgh Wednesday night.

Police were called around 3 a.m. Thursday to 15 Bayberry Road where they say shots were fired. When they arrived, they say approximately 40 people tried to flee. A bullet hole was found in the front door and a shell casing was found on the sidewalk in front of the house.

Police say the homeowner was out of town and the party was hosted by his 22-year-old daughter. Neighbors say they didn?t expect any kind of trouble from the home.

No one was injured during the incident. However, three men were arrested for disorderly conduct.
