Police say a 19-year-old man was shot and killed Wednesday afternoon as he was getting a haircut in Yonkers.

According to authorities, the young man was sitting inside the barber shop at 19 Main St. in Getty Square when at least one person rushed inside and shot him at least twice.

Police say the shooter ran off quickly after the incident. Police have yet to make an arrest.

People inside the barber shop at the time of the shooting are being questioned by police. Detectives ask anyone with information about the crime to contact the Yonkers Police Department at 914-377-7725.
