Spring Valley police arrest 12 in prostitution sting

Police in Spring Valley say they uncovered a prostitution ring in the village during the weekend.
Authorities say men were found paying for sex at three separate homes. Neighbors say that while the clients waited, they played volleyball outside the houses.
Police made 12 arrests Saturday at the homes on Clinton Street. During the raid, about 25 police officers descended on the houses. Three men, Julian Filemon Baten, Antonio Guallpa Morales, and Selvin Santizo Martinez were charged with running the alleged prostitution ring.
