Fire officials say an elderly man barely escaped a fire that broke out in a New Rochelle home Wednesday morning.
Firefighters say that the man was disoriented, but not unconscious when they arrived at his home at 153 Woodhollow Lane. They say that heavy smoke and flames had broken out in the man?s garage.
Officials say the home received water and smoke damage, but no fire damage. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
No one else was injured.
