Violent thunderstorm rips through Hudson Valley

Tuesday?s thunderstorm passed through the Hudson Valley quickly, but not without a bang bringing torrential rain and lightning. During the most violent part of the thunderstorm, firefighters say a bolt of lightning struck a Middletown driveway and sparked a fire that scorched a garage. ?It was a very loud storm, it was unusual.
