A 15-year-old was accidentally shot in the stomach Monday after a rifle fell off a shelf in a Blooming Grove home and fired, police say. Police did not release many details about the incident, but have ruled it an accident. Officers were at the Blooming Grove home for several hours. Two rifles and a shell were removed from the home, where police say the teen was visiting a friend.

Authorities say the victim and his friend were cleaning a room when the accident occurred.

The teen was taken to the hospital, but his condition was not released.
